PRAYER FOR THE BODY OF JESUS CHRIST I thank you, Lord, through Jesus Christ for all of my brothers and sisters in the Body of the Lord Jesus Christ, especially those that I lift up by name now in prayer. Father, I ask that their names would be heard in your throne room. I bless them with your grace and peace, Lord God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank you, Lord God, always on their behalf, for the grace of God which is given them by Jesus Christ, that in every thing they are enriched by you, in all utterance, and in all knowledge, even as the testimony of Christ has been confirmed in them, so that they come behind in no gift, waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Father, my prayer for my brothers and sisters is that their every need would be met, from the smallest daily need to every resource and provision that you have provided for them. I ask that you would assign angels to protect, defend, and deliver every need, resource, and provision to my brothers and sisters, in accordance with your perfect will and perfect timing. Father, I forgive my brothers and sisters for their sins, and I ask that you would forgive all of their sins and remove any and every basis for satanic and diabolical accusation against them. Father, if any of my brothers or sisters slips or stumbles, my prayer for them is that they would not fall, but that you would uphold them and send them reproofs, rebukes, chastisements, and afflictions, according to your loving kindness and righteous judgments. Bring my brothers and sisters back onto the straight and narrow path, and keep them there, so that the name of Jesus will be glorified, and so that there will be no occasion for the enemy to blaspheme. Father, I ask that you would grant favor to these brothers and sisters, with believers and unbelievers, and with persons known and unknown. I ask that you would expand their coasts and open up new windows of provision, according to their needs. Father, I ask that you would keep these brothers and sisters beneath the shelter of your wing, and that you would hide them from all plans of the enemy to destroy them and their lives’ purposes. I ask that they would fulfill every spiritual purpose for which you have raised them up in the earth during this time, and that not one of the purposes for which you have raised them up would go undone or unfinished. I thank you for these things, Father, in Jesus’ name. I ask you, Father, to confirm them unto the end, that they may be blameless in the day of our Lord; that they would be perfect, of good comfort, of one mind, living in peace; and that your love and peace would be with them in their going out and coming in. Father of glory, I ask that you would give to them the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Jesus Christ; that the eyes of their understanding would be enlightened; that they may know what is the hope of their calling and the riches of the glory of the inheritance of Jesus your Son, in the Body of Christ. With joy and confidence I ask of you, Father, that their love would abound, in knowledge and in all judgment, in their fellowship in the gospel, and that the good work which you have begun in them and in the Body of Christ would be performed until the Day of the Lord. I pray that they would approve things that are excellent, sincere, and without offense; that they would be filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of your name. Father, I ask that they might be filled with the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that they might walk worthy, unto all pleasing of your good purposes, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all might, according to your glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness. Father, I ask that these brothers and sisters would continue in the faith grounded and settled, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel. I ask that you would remember their work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in your sight, our God and our Father; making them perfect in every good work to do your will, working in them that which is wellpleasing in your sight, through Jesus Christ. I give you all thanks, Father, because you have made the Body of Christ meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light; because you have delivered us from the power of darkness, and you have translated us into the kingdom of your dear Son, in whom we have redemption through his blood and the forgiveness of sins; who is the image of the invisible God and the firstborn of every creature, in the body of his flesh through death, to present us holy and unblameable and unreproveable in your sight. Oh Lord, the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of his sheep, it is unto you through Jesus that we give all honor and thanks and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
